Third Coast Percussion (TCP) serves as a role model for the numerous artist-led chamber ensembles that have emerged in the last decade. Dedicated to expanding the percussion repertoire in innovative ways, TCP has commissioned and premiered more than 100 pieces from today's leading composers, emerging music creators, and everyone in between, and has developed new models for commissioning centered on close collaboration, genuine relationship building, and open-minded idea exchange.
