Movement on Montrose (MoM) is a vibrant and versatile venue dedicated to fostering inspiration and collaboration within our local community.
Our mission is to provide non-profit organizations, small businesses, and our neighbors with accessible spaces to plan and realize their own programming.
With our flexible event space, accommodating up to 70 people, and three multi-purpose dance studios, MoM is a place for movement, creativity, wellness, and connection.

Event Space: 1,550 square feet with a capacity of 70 people
Our event space offers plenty of space for different types of events and setups. Equipped with aerial rigging hooks. Includes access to green room.
Studio One: 870 square feet with a capacity of 15 people
This is our largest studio, equipped with mirrors and specialized Marley flooring. This studio is ideal for dance rehearsals, ballet classes, and various movement-based practices.
Studio Two: 824 square feet with a capacity of 15 people
This studio is equipped with mirrors and specialized Marley flooring, ideal for dance rehearsals, ballet classes, and various movement-based practices. Equipped with aerial rigging hooks.
Studio Three: 824 square feet with a capacity of 15 people
This studio is equipped with mirrors and specialized Marley flooring, ideal for dance rehearsals, ballet classes, and various movement-based practices.
Gallery/Multipurpose Room:
Our semi-private flex space can showcase local artists’ work. Additionally, this area can be transformed into a meeting room for discussions, workshops, or small-scale presentations.
Green Room:
We offer a green room with lighted mirrors and seating where performers, presenters, and hosts can prepare and unwind before the performance.
Lounge Area: Our waiting area has comfortable seating, a water fountain, complimentary Wi-Fi, and vending machines for refreshments.
Audio System: We provide a high-quality audiovisual system to elevate your event, whether it’s a presentation, performance, or celebration. Any phone or computer can be paired to our audio system, which is connected to our event space, studios, and multipurpose room.
