Tenant Education Network (TEN) is a power building organization that uses union organizing tools with innovative technology to support the leadership of tenants in Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) housing. TEN’s purpose is two-pronged: to solve the problems faced by PBS8 tenants in Illinois while building long-term progressive power in the process. They do this by organizing tenant unions in PBS8 buildings according to their unique model of repetitive and rigorous documentation alongside.
