Sista Afya Community Care (SACC) sustains the mental wellness of Black women by providing accessible, culturally responsive, and community-centered care. Based on Chicago’s South Side, SACC serves Black women ages 18–35 through free and low-cost therapy, peer support, and community wellness programs. SACC’s holistic model is shaped by community input and research partnerships. Strategic alliances address systemic barriers like poverty, housing instability, and racial discrimination.
