The Maynard Institute and the Ida B. Wells Society in partnership with the Associated Press will work together to identify and train journalists in underrepresented communities to do investigative journalism on local, state and national levels; to identify and support mid-career journalists of color to make the next steps in advancing their newsroom careers; and to expand coverage to more robustly embrace the news of all communities.
