For 20 years, Options for Youth (OFY) has worked to improve life options for two of Chicago’s most vulnerable adolescent populations: teenage mothers who have a baby while still in high school and teenage boys who live and go to school in under-resourced and historically disinvested neighborhoods. OFY’s vision is to break the cycle of poverty that disproportionately affects young people by expanding opportunities for vulnerable adolescents in Chicago through community-based programs that build upon the strengths and maximize the potential of each young person.
