North Side Housing and Supportive Services (NSHSS) has been helping adults experiencing homelessness in Chicago since 1983. The organization provides emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, wraparound services, and integrated health care. In December 2024, NSHSS opened a new 70-bed men’s shelter in Rogers Park, which offers 24/7 housing, three daily meals, laundry, on-site medical care, art therapy, and case management.
