Lifting Ourselves Through Us (L.O.T.U.S.) began as a grassroots effort to close opportunity gaps in education, economics, and wellness for historically marginalized youth and families. What started with small afterschool programs has expanded offerings to include innovative camps, school partnerships, family supports, and community-based learning experiences. Through trauma-informed, culturally responsive, experiential methods, L.O.T.U.S. empowers students and families to thrive— academically, emotionally, and economically.
