Support the Freedom of the Press – The Fight Goes On

Kenwood Oakland Community Organization

Chicago, IL, United States

Through the sustained engagement of low-income and working Black families, Kenwood Oakland Community Organization (KOCO) works in the Bronzeville neighborhood to develop multi-generational leaders who impact their community through organizing. Much of KOCO’s organizing work equips community members with grassroots organizing skills, and enables them to develop collective strategies for addressing the systemic inequities that impact their lives and neighborhood.
