Healing to Action’s (HTA) mission is to end gender-based violence (GBV) by building the leadership and collective power of the individuals most impacted—survivors from immigrant, BIPOC, low-income, disability, and LGBTQ+ communities. By treating GBV as a systemic problem, rather than an interpersonal issue, HTA has made a significant impact throughout Chicagoland. Their grassroots organizing work and community health model are essential in supporting survivors from marginalized communities throughout Chicago.
