A group of French nuns run a weekly food pantry and serve a daily lunch to hundreds of Chicago's most underserved residents. Fraternité Notre Dame also provides many other services for people in the community, primarily children. Each week, SMV picks up a group of children in a 15-passenger van after school and takes them to the church for activities and snacks. They often go on field trips.
