Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange

Chicago, IL, United States

The Creative Chicago Reuse Exchange (CCRx) gives trash a second life by recycling it for creative use throughout the Chicago area. In 2025 alone, CCRx recycled 83,000 pounds of materials through their programming with local artisans, partnerships with CPS and other community groups, and makers markets providing materials directly to creatives. The purpose of this grant is to provide general operating support so that the exchange can continue their programming, community support, and efforts to creatively keep trash out of landfills.
