Covenant House Illinois (CHIL) serves youth experiencing homelessness ages 18-24 through an Interim Housing Shelter and Youth Development Center (Drop-In), a Workforce Development Program (Covenant Works), and a Street Outreach Program geared towards engaging youth living on the street. Youth experiencing homelessness face chronic trauma and mental health challenges, often exacerbated by systemic inequities. CHIL’s on-site mental health services, combined with transportation assistance for external services, aim to eliminate these access barriers. Visit Covenant House Illinois
