Chicago Women’s Health Center (CWHC) was founded in 1975 to provide an alternative to the traditional model of health care. Over 6,000 women, trans people, and young people access health services each year as CWHC continues to evolve to meet the emerging needs of Chicago communities and reduce barriers to care for LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, and people with low incomes.
