The Double Exposure Film Festival and Symposium advances public awareness of journalism as a driver of democracy and culture, with the goal of building a public constituency for the rights of an independent watchdog press, whether working in print or on film. It provides the skills, tools, and networking opportunities to elevate the field, and the needed sense of community to sustain this work.
