ConTextos' mission is to offer a platform (through programming, publishing, and creative place keeping) for people to claim and share their narratives to promote healing and justice, in thriving communities. Focusing on South and West side neighborhoods, it seeks to lift the voices and insights of people living in historically underserved communities, especially those affected by violence and mass incarceration, to challenge assumptions and provoke change.
